Dear Friend, I was celebrating this weekend, not really Memorial Day. Just more friends being friends. Let me start you off when this weekend began.

Friday/ Noon. I got off work very early. I had actually taken the day off but I wanted to make a for a few hours. We’re going out of town in a little while and I wanted to get as many hours as I could. That being said a friend of mine was coming in to town so I couldn’t work my normal shift. After friend get into town we do are normal DND ritual of picking up foods and friends. We had an awesome night, my friend that was visiting supplied gold for the party and we had a bit of a shopping episode after some 1v1’s.

Saturday. We started off our day by going to a convention. Me personally, it was alright. I think it was small, a little too small. I appreciate the effort that went into it… but it was a free event. Later we reconvened, ten or so people in my little apartment and we pre-gamed. I don’t quite have the skills that some of my favorite bartenders have, I have quite the heavy hand. I also don’t use ice in my drinks so that probably hurts my liver a bit too. Regardless we emerged from my apartment ready to head downtown. See there were several events going on this particular outing. One such being that two of my friends had never really gone out. I worked to remedy this.

We had a great time, the night came and went, a little underwhelming but I still had a great time. Today I relaxed. I got to unwind and prepare for writing this. as well as getting quite a bit of book writing and spending time with family and friends virtually.

Tomorrow our friend is leaving and I think were doing a breakfast. I hope to have a progress update for my book for you tomorrow Dear Friend. Until then, you will be alright.
