Dear Friend, what a week it has been. I finished doing my month of writing this week and made good progress on the book. A few things that I want to talk about that happened and I will let you be.

Ali Hazelwood released a new book. Problematic Summer Romance, a sequel* to Not in Love. I put the * because it does probably contain our titular characters from the book but the real focus is on Eli Killgore’s sister and his best friend at Eli and Rue’s wedding. Very excited for this book, I’m hoping to purchase a signed copy here in the coming days.

I’ve been playing lots of Spider-Man 2 and I got to the (SPOILERS) Venom part finally. According to someone that has played the game I’m in the last stage of the game. Apparently the fire cult missions are the other big part.

I saw Friendship, starring Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd. I loved it, I’m a big Paul Rudd fan and I would now consider myself a Tim Robinson fan. It’s definitely the funniest movie I’ve ever seen in theaters. Probably also going to be the standout comedy for the year too. Yet again another A24 movie for the books. My fifth by the studio in the last six months.

I’ve got my big cabin trip coming up this week and I’m looking forward to it. Next time you hear from me I will be high and drunk in a cabin the woods, soaking in a hot tub writing from my laptop. Don’t go into a hot tub intoxicated Dear Friend. I hope you are alright.
