Dear Friend.

I know, I know. I missed it by a day. Last night I turned in rather early so I could be up earlier for today. Today was my last day on vacation. Let’s talk about it.

So the week started gradually, I worked three days at my normal job, watched Friendship for a second time and generally just wrote as much as I could. Every single day I was able to meet at least 1K words a day.

Okay vacation time!

Day One. Driving mostly. I was awoken by two friends from out of town at the foot of my bed as my partner and a good friend watched on. We met at IHOP, had an experience with what can only be described as a quirky and our age range server and then we made the drive up into the mountains. I played a lot of one of my favorite Switch games: Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. I think the record for the trip was 4/6 in my friend’s favor.

Day Two. Sleeping in and we went on a hike. We at MRE’s and I worked on writing quite a bit. The above photo is taken from this day and I had a great time chilling on the lake.

Day Three. We went to a hot springs that the group had been to before. This is the only time I’ve been that there were other people there at the same time as us. Typically it’s just fifteen of us and that’s it.

Day Four. We went out on the town, got some sweets and I checked out a local book store. Overall I was very impressed with there selection. And the store cat. DND on this night rather than Friday to accommodate a new (returning) addition.

And that’s it! Sort of a relaxing week coming to me this coming week as well with Friday the 13th tattoos and piercings. Hopefully I’ll get my writing goals. Until next time, you will be alright.
