Dear Friend. I wish to share a piece of fiction that was submitted but not published long ago. Here it is.
An Outlaw
Alan-A the Bubble Burster was not just some outlaw
Brandishing stories from every dimension they wielded the pen as their mightiest weapon
For they had a secret truth to their remarkable swordplay
The sword was mightier than the pen and their targets reflected as such
Hypocrites to their own oaths of free access
But their secret identity is what separated them from like minded individuals
In studying they had discovered that upon closer inflection, their enemies were just pawns to their ideas
Ideas are what truly abated them
Ideas couldn’t be destroyed but people could and the system that valued such ideals
Alan-A was not just some criminal
Wielding the mightiest of pen blades, they wrote themselves new systems and beliefs to better suit the populus
Ideas that could stand the test of time but most importantly, stand the truth of persecution.
Writing manifesto and theses that would turn hearts and minds, but most importantly souls and ambitions
Doomed from the start Alan-A rose to prominence in an age of anonymity
Crushing idealistically flawed regimes and schools of reasons with nothing but the swift strokes of their informed reason
Doomed from the start, we were all beseeched to form our own thoughts and opinions
what truly makes your actions more right or wrong than that of a stranger
To one person your actions are noble to another your actions, atrocities
Alan-A wrote for the common man, illustrated for the middle man, crumbled before the powerful
But its with great intent that these words should find and meet and new nurturing spirit
One that encourages free thinking, enlightened thought and progressive action
For without it Alan-A sacrifice was in vain
Dear Friend, I hope you are alright.
